With his soul set firmly on a global scale Anish K lives, breathes and feeds on music. From humble beginnings as an infant experiencing music vicariously through his elders, his ascent into DJ fraternities came after Year 7 lunchtimes were spent mashing contemporary dance music with idiotic recordings of his class mates.
Ranging from the dubbiest trip-hop, to the most manic Dubstep, past the most flamboyant Funk, across the sexiest Jazz, through the grooviest House, amongst the spikiest Electronica, and into as many different cultural vibes as sonically possible; a night with Anish K at the decks is never going to be a boring one!
Having supported acts as diverse as Mistajam, Engine-Earz Experiment, Kissy Sellout, Bloody Beetroots, Foals, Good Shoes, Caspa, Benga, MJ Cole, Drums of Death, Breakbot, Elite Force, and legendary kindred spirit Mr Scruff, it is little wonder his work is as colourful as his music taste. An ambitious yet highly articulate DJ, the self-taught musician never fails to impress.
