Formed in South London in late 2008, Dead Social Club are a post-punk-inspired, six-piece indie band with an electronic twinge. The most apt musical description DSC have been tagged with is: “The Cure meets Depeche mode, with Joy Division featuring”.
With radio play on BBC 6, Absolute, Phantom FM (Dublin) as well as oddly filling the airwaves in France, Ireland, Canada, Taiwan and the Netherlands, each time the band plays seems bigger than the last. Having just completed a London Scala show with Bloc Party, DSC are now concentrating on summer festivals and releasing a debut EP in August 2011.
Dead Social Club’s debut single ‘Let Love Die’ was released in March 2011 and is available on iTunes, Amazon and Spotify.
