Over the past two years Liam Logik is slowly making his mark on the Dubstep scene. With his unique style that draws influences from filthy bass driven Drum and Bass and Dubstep, Liam is a DJ that smashes the dance floor and is a firm favourite with the crowd.
Being introduced to the rave scene at the age of 16 by going to Uprising in his hometown of Sheffield, Liam took influence from the heavy kick drums and the hard bass from DJs such as Mark EG, CJ Glover and M Zone.
As time went on and the sound got more formulated and repetitive Liam started to broaden his musical taste. He started to go to the Tuesday club which was also in his hometown of Sheffield, this is where he was introduced to Dubstep and was inspired by DJs such as Caspa, Benga, Rusko and Joker to name a few.
His debut DJ set playing Dubstep was at Subtitle in Sheffield where he frequently plays. The bookings for Liam followed very quickly after this with sets being played up and down the country at events such as Land Festival (Lincoln), Bassface (Sheffield), Electric Circus (London), Subtitle (Sheffield) to name a few.
He is also an active producer with releases on Sub Tek and a track featured on the Lordz of Dubstep compilation put together by Lunatrix and DJ Vokal.
