Worship formed in 2010, and after a productive couple of months including gigs with We Have Band, Pete & The Pirates, Esben & The Witch and Minotaur Shock, and culminating with a Maida Vale session for Rob Da Bank, the band decided to retreat and develop their writing.

They headed out to Norway in the Summer 2010 for a month of writing and recording at a small residential studio, where they wrote, recorded, produced and mixed all the tracks themselves. On their return to the UK, Worship continued to pick up support slots with acts such as Trophy Wife, Luke Abbott, Nedry and Does It Offend You Yeah?, rounding off the Summer with a performance at Bestival.
The band were then approached by acclaimed video director, Blake Claridge, who wanted to develop a video for one of their tracks, Collateral. Shot on a tiny budget, the video was picked up and featured by a variety of sites around the world.
In early 2011, Worship once again shipped themselves off to write and record new material.
